How did I get here?
SENSE OF CONNECTION
Since I was tiny, I’ve felt a deep connection with the natural world.
I’ve never lost the sheer wonder at how I ended up on this planet, in this position, and born into a generation of humans at a critical time: when our decisions, priorities and leadership will shape the future of our planet.
This love for our world calls me forward.
STARTUPS
My first leadership role at a purpose-led startup in 2014 was a baptism of fire. I felt lost, and leadership felt like a lonely journey.
I became fascinated about how strong cultures and high-performing teams were created – whilst others floundered and failed.
I needed someone to help me feel more empowered and sure of myself in making those big decisions. I wished I had a coach.
SON
In 2020 I was heavily pregnant with our first child, whilst Australian wildfires raged. This wasn’t the world he deserved to inherit.
How could I amplify my life’s work, to impact the planet positively on an even bigger scale?
I re-committed my career to supporting even more climate leaders.
My clients choose me because I ‘get’ leadership on the startup space, but I also ‘get’ climate work. Together, we ignite possibilities that are truly life-changing.
PROFESSIONAL BIO
Megan Fraser (she/her) is a fully qualified professional coach (MA, PCC), accredited by the International Coaching Federation.
She started her career in consulting at a fast-paced Vancouver scale-up. There, Megan realised how her own leadership – and that of others – could make or break an organisation’s impact. This led her to train as a coach, to support other leaders in high-growth, mission-led startups.
Megan is a founding member of Climate Change Coaches, the world’s first climate coaching organisation. She’s also a longstanding coach with Climate-KIC, the EU’s main climate innovation body, and co-redesigned Scotland’s incubator for social innovation. Megan trained with the top-tier Co-Active Training Institute (CPCC), among others.
Megan specialises in coaching climate entrepreneurs. She helps her clients navigate a life-changing path between personal transformation and global impact.
She has a global client base, having worked virtually with leaders on four continents to date.

Appearing on BBC Radio Scotland on behalf of Climate Change Coaches, to share how a coaching approach can build agency and resourcefulness in climate action.
Volunteering for years with The Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Centre of BC, as a mental health supporter.
Megan currently lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, with her young family.
She loves taking their dog for walks, finding a favourite new read, and listening to reggaeton while making a mess in the kitchen.
